Paranoid Polaroid

A game made for the GlobalGameJam 2021 edition, with my friend DiscoReunion. 

You play a female journalist who wakes up with no memory after a serious car accident. You remember almost nothing, except that you are there to investigate the disappearance of a famous Hollywood actress.

The game is inspired by David Lynch's Mulholland Drive and John Cassavetes' Opening Night, two of our favorite films. It is also a game inspired by the true story of the Hollywood actress Peg Entwistle, who after a failed acting career, committed suicide by jumping from the top of the famous "Hollywood" sign on September 16, 1932. Several witnesses will affirm, in the following decades, to have seen her ghost near the Hollywood sign. 

It is a textual game with one detail: our character is equipped with a polaroid camera and is able to take a picture that will reveal a view of the current scene.
